THE ASYMMETRIC HUMP RIM
This paper covers the development of a new rim, providing run-flat potential and increased safety in case of sudden air loss. Test results on various tyres and cars illustrate how the performance objectives are met and how, simultaneously, complete compatibility with existing standard tyres and rims is maintained. For the covering abstract of the conference see TRIS 382374. (TRRL)
