PLANNING AND PREPARATION OF EXPERIMENTAL OPERATING ON THE EMSLAND TRANSRAPID TEST SYSTEM

Building and operation of the system are governed by the 1976 law on experimental systems. The equipment to be tested includes the vehicle, the propulsion system, the automatic control system, the infrastructure and the operating equipment. The aim of the experimental operating phase is to optimise the different components of the various systems and test the system as a whole. The tests will culminate in a study on the applicability of the magnetic levitation transport system.
