Over the past ten years a method of shotcreting has established itself in the construction of transportation tunnels in Frankfurt, West Germany. In preparation for each construction project, careful examination of the geologic, tunnel loads, and the condition of the concrete inner lining and remaining shotcrete outershell must be made.
