CARATTERISTICHE DEL TRAFFICO AUTOMOBILISTICO STRANIERO IN ITALIA

An illustrated article presents the results of a survey of foreign holiday traffic in Italy. The survey covered the period 15 June to 30 September 1982 and included traffic counts, nationality identification, and interviews. Eight chapters deal with: (1) introduction; (2) characteristics of the survey; (3) frontier counts; (4) tourist movement; (5) origin and destination of tourist traffic; (6) the attractive capacity of the Italian regions; (7) holiday characteristics; and (8) conclusions.
