A USEFUL TOOL FOR ANALYSING AND PLANNING GOODS TRANSPORTATION
A multicommodity transshipment problem is presented. Reformulation of capacity constraints using non-linear penalty costs is discussed. Two solution methods, the Frank-Wolfe algorithm, and Dantzig-Wofe decomposition are applied to the different formulations respectively. The two methods are compared. An important part of the paper is a discussion of how to construct a useful tool for computer-aided analysis and planning for the presented problem. (Author/TRRL)
