THE "DYNAMICS" OF CAR DESIGN AND GAS ECONOMY

Spokespersons for major automobile manufacturers have singled out aerodynamics as the area of greatest potential for improving fuel economy. This article explains the different methods of measuring a car's aerodynamic characteristics and gives a progress report of what's being done both in the U.S. and Europe.
