DRIVING MODELS--PARENTS, PEERS, AND THE MEDIA
Parents, peers, and the media all affect young people's driving habits. Because of the complexity of human behavior, however, it is difficult to generalize about which has the most impact on all teenagers. Some teenagers react to their identity seeking with more rebellion against their parents than against others. Certain teenagers are more susceptible to media and peer influence than others, certain ones run up against good driving models while others are subjected mainly to poor ones. Such variables all have a place in the equation that decides how driving models shape a person's driving habits.
