REPORT ON THE IMPORTANCE OF INSTITUTIONS, ORGANISATIONS AND OTHER GROUPS OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IN RELATION TO ROAD SAFETY EDUCATION
This paper gives a general survey of activities on road safety education as carried out by organizations, institutions, and various social groups and people, outside the school system. At the same time it demonstrates the influence thereof on road safety education within schools, on parents and other educators, and on those engaged in research into educational methods. Finally, it shows how these activities are being developed in various countries throughout the motorized world. The paper is presented by Prevention Routiere Internationale (PRI), an international organization with representatives from 38 countries.
