AUTO AFTERMARKET: AN ENORMOUS POTENTIAL FOR TIRE DEALERS. A LOOK AT BRAKES, WHEELS, EXHAUST SYSTEMS, ENGINES
This article discusses four potential markets which tire dealers should consider if they are thinking about expanding their tire business: brake service, wheel alignment and balancing, exhaust system service, and engine tune-up service. The profit potential in each of these areas is discussed, along with what would be needed to get started, such as equipment, employee training and space allocation.
