SMALL VEHICLE PROCUREMENT WORKSHOP
A successful procurement of small vehicles depends on carefully drafted specifications, well defined procedures, and open communications between buyers and bidders at crucial times during the process. This report of the 1983 Small Vehicle Procurement Workshop conducted by the Indiana Department of Transportation discussed purchasing under UMTA Section 16 (b) (2) and Section 18 grants. Short case studies are accompanied by contacts from whom additional details may be obtained.
