VEHICLE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL HEADS

The purpose of this standard is to provide a guide for the preparation of Specifications for Vehicle Traffic Signal Heads. The standard represents the requirements for equipment described herein and is not intended to impose restrictions upon (1) design and materials which conform to the purpose and the intent of this standard or (2) installation of traffic signal heads. Further, this standard is not intended to describe fiberoptic or optically programmable signal heads or components.
