FAILURE MECHANISMS IN FILLET WELDS
Information on the behaviour of welded specimens tested by students is offered as a contribution to the pool local statistical data that will be needed with the introduction of local limit states design codes. Doubts are raised about the adequacy of current descriptions of failure mechanisms and a suggestion is made for the direction of future research. (Author/TRRL)
