BUS DETECTION
DETEKCIJA AUTOBUSA
The structure of the bus detection system consisting of a detector's loop, amplifier and comparing unit is described. Details are given of the calculation of the detector's amplifier and comparing unit. The change in detector's loop inductivity is due to the passing of vehicles, the amplifier transforms it into an impulse and the comparing unit identifies the impulse given by a passing bus, transmitting to the signal equipment a request for a phase change when the red light is on. By giving priority to public transport vehicles it is possible to adhere to the timetable and to save fuel. For the covering abstract see IRRD 273856.
