WHAT IS EYE PROTECTION
Face shields and goggles protect eyes as well as reduce eye fatigue brought on by squinting. Advice is given as to how to use such equipment for maximum protection. Face shields and goggles should be securely fastened to the helmets of motorcycle drivers. Either of these should comply to the ANSI or VESC standards. The lenses should be clear, not tinted. The two materials used to make lenses, lexan and butryate are briefly discussed.
