DRAINAGE OF SUBSURFACE WATER FROM ROADS
This bulletin is a guide to the design, construction and maintenance of subsurface drainage systems for roads and also provides guidance on the assessment of the need for subsurface drainage. It provides details of the techniques to be used for estimating rates of surface water infiltration and groundwater levels and flows, and presents design methods for drainage systems for the disposal of such water. Standard drainage systems are described and elements of subsurface drainage systems are discussed in detail. (TRRL)
