VISCOSITY-TEMPERATURE SUSCEPTIBILITY AND ITS RELATION WITH OTHER RHEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS
In the paper 16 different bitumens in use now, originating from different crudes, method of refineries and their modifications by additives have been studied by means of conventional tests and viscosity measurements over a wide range of temperatures. Their use have been studied according to their characteristics. In order to achieve better characterization of their properties with regard to their durability on roads, the measurements have been performed on the original bitumens after submitting them to the R.T.F.C.T. aging. Based on these data various parameters which are used for defining thermic sensitivity of bitumen have been calculated. (TRRL)
