VIDEO ARCADE TRAFFIC AND PARKING
One of the most controversial types of commercial development facing many communities is the video game arcade. Although the ITE Journal is an unlikely forum for discussion of either the investment opportunity or the sociological impact of an arcade, traffic engineers will increasingly be called upon to address issues within their field of expertise - trip generation and traffic impact. Thus, the purpose of this article is to disseminate trip generation data assembled in connection with the planning and operation of a free-standing video game arcade.
