SOUTH DAKOTA'S CONTRACT CLAIM PROCEDURES

The South Dakota Department of Transportation has an administrative review process for contract claims. If the claim is submitted properly under the terms of the contract, the state highway engineer has a committee review the claim and recommend action. If the contractor is not satisfied, he may bring suit in circuit court. (Author)
