GUIDELINES FOR SAFETY DOCUMENTATION IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE SYSTEMS
Guidelines are being drafted in order to maintain the present high degree of safety of rail systems and to ensure that the introduction of new safety equipment and new technology does not affect the standard of safety achieved. These guidelines should be independent of technology and incorporate proven safety principles and procedures. As the specification and descriptions of the technical solution are an important part of the safety documentation, these will be included in the guidelines. These guidelines will be referred to as the "Licensing Report".
