ADVANCED CYCLE STOP LINE
This pamphlet describes the facility and its use. The advanced cycle stopline will enable cyclists to move ahead of other traffic into a reservoir created for cycles, via a kerbside with-flow cycle lane, when the first traffic signal shows red. This facility, which is indicated by a green cycle silhouette on the first traffic signal, will also allow cyclists to move off ahead of other vehicles when both traffic signals show green. (TRRL)
