BRIDGE ESTHETIC GUIDELINES
By means of paired drawings, along with brief descriptions, various features of contemporary highway overpass bridges are described in regard to their esthetics. Categories presented include girders, piers, abutments, and others as parapets, railings, slope protection, color, texture and lighting. The format of the report is structured that bridge designers with little training in esthetics can make direct use of the concepts.
