SEE HOW THEY RUN. THE DESIGN OF PASSENGER INFORMATION LITERATURE
As part of a program to improve the maps, timetables, and other information literature produced by London Transport, the style and contents of equivalent publications of other bus and underground railway operators were studied. This report describes the study and lists a selection of features which are categorised as positive or negative. It is emphasised that the categorisation is wholly subjective, since no tests for intelligibility or usefulness were made against a suitable sample of users. (TRRL)
