A SURVEY OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS AVAILABLE WITHIN THE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

INVENTERING AV ADB-PROGRAM INOM BROSEKTORN

The rapidly increasing use of EDP has resulted in computer programs being developed in a number of areas within the bridge sector. Committee No 61 recognized an urgent demand for a survey of existing computer programs. By classification and unified presentation, the availability to users in the other Nordic countries should be enhanced. Another aim of this survey is to avoid similar programs being developed by different organizations at the same time. The survey groups the computer programs according to: stability, structural analysis, design of cross section, dynamic behaviour, temperature and wind, foundations and miscellaneous programs, each program lists: program description, programming language, availability, owner and host computer of computer compatability.
