EFFECT OF CHANGES IN THE DRINKING AGE ON ALCOHOL-RELATED VARIABLES: A LITERATURE REVIEW
Literature pertaining to the changing of the drinking age in Western Australia is reviewed in two parts according to whether the drinking age was lowered or raised. Within each part the literature is categorised according to the types of dependent variables (e.g., traffic accidents, alcohol consumption, school problems, treatment for alcoholism). Studies which include more than one type of dependent variable are referred to in each relevant section.
