The main chapters cover such topics as are the safety and organization of traffic, the basic technical norms are and indices for utilization of transportation, intersections and continuities, through-way sectioning and highway pavements, internal roads of industrial enterprises, tractor and summer roads, bridges, ducts, tunnels, road construction, environment, beautification and road automotive transport service. Minor sub-chapters including such headings as the calculation of speed and loading capacity (also covered in tables) bicycle paths and sidewalks, and snow-preventive constructions. Figures include a scheme for ensuring the clarity of vision at contiguities and intersections.
