Echos des communications: pp.204-263: Summary of questions concerning transportation within the framework of the treaty of Rome (1957) which established the European Economic Community. The summary states the importance of the transportation industry for the economic activity of the EEC, the treaty provisions for a common transportation policy the objectives of such a common policy and it sums up what has been accomplished so far. The main measures for a common transportation policy are: to harmonize competition (government intervention, fiscal social and technical domains); to organize a common transportation market; to coordinate transportation infrastructure investments; to improve traffic safety; to formulate polices for airports and maritime ports - pp.264-284: Belgian Transportation Regulations Part V: Maritime transportation. Part A covers government administration and control; technical provisions (distinction between ships and boats, nationality and registration, passes and flags, inspection certificates); Belgian territorial waters; government investments; fiscal regulations. Part B concerns regulations for maritime transportation: captain and crew. - pp. 286-288: Some figures on the increase of pipeline transportation in Belgium, 1968-1973. Tables 1.1, 1.2 illustrate the infrastructure of Belgian pipelines by length and by types of products transported and by location of terminals and technical characteristics. Tables 2.1, 2.2 illustrate pipeline transportation by tonnage, tonnage/km, product, per year and the tonnage transported by type of transport (from Metherlands, inland) and by type of merchandise. - pp.290-303: Book review: "The Development of the Flemish economy in an international content - Transportation", by Gewestelijke Ekonomische Raad voor Vlaanderen (1972).
