The flexible infosystem is a system of information signs or signals which informs the driver on his route to his destination on the availability of vacant parking places on a number of parking sites and of teh location of these parking places. The given information is determined by observation on the spot or in the vicinity of the parking accommodation concerned. The main purpose of the system is parking place. Other aspects are the decrease of traffic looking for parking places and a better use of the available parking provisions. (TRRL)
