YOUNG AND/OR INEXPERIENCED DRIVER ACCIDENT STUDY: INTERIM REPORT OF THE EXPERT WORKING GROUP
This interim report presents the progress to date of the expert working group on young and/or inexperienced driver accidents. Results of accident data analysis are given which identify the major characteristics of young driver accidents. A range of countermeasures to receive attention in the short term are reviewed. The next major activity of the expert working group is the conduct of two exposure studies. These will allow the level of risk of various young driver behaviours to be calculated. (Author/TRRL)
