ACCIDENT DATA ANALYSIS ON A SMALL COMPUTER
This report shows how to store accident data on a small micro-computer costing approximately three thousand pounds, and the type of analysis possible with a machine of this type. It outlines the requirements for a local authority traffic accident data base, the choice of a traffic accident subset for analysis. It shows types of analysis programs and lists some programs which are described (file set up program FYLES, AXIN-data entry program, LIST-listing program, TABS, SELEK, CHEKK). Other applications of the set of programs are mentioned together with the structure of the file and availability of the program. (TRRL)
