FIFTEENTH PROGRESS REPORT ON TRIP ENDS GENERATION RESEARCH COUNTS

The report presents the results of the current year's studies and summarises all the previous studies on a continuing research on trip end generation. It also includes a brief description of the project, definition of terms used, site selection and procedures developed. In the current year there are 12 study sites, all being agricultural nurseries in different areas throughout the San Francisco Bay area. For each site the following data sheets are included: general description of site; manual count data; seven-day automatic count (reduced computer output); and, trip generation study summary sheet. The last section of the report consists of comparison tables by land use and also calculations summarising all similar studies to date. Weighted average rates for each variable are included in the tables. (TRRL)
