PROCEDURES ADOPTED IN SURVEYING TRAFFIC MOVEMENT IN THE VICINITY OF A SMALL TOWN
This report describes the procedures adopted in a survey of traffic movement in the vicinity of a small town in Ireland. It details the preliminary work, survey personnel requirements, positioning of sites, survey station layout, safety precautions, choice of time for the survey, and the processing of the survey results by computer.
