DESIGN CHARTS FOR FLEXIBLE ROAD PAVEMENTS
Recently, a simple rational method of flexible pavement design has been developed for Irish conditions. By means of computer calculations or charts based on such calculations, it is possible to deduce the thickness of granular material required to construct a pavement with the desired lifetime. The design charts constructed using the program, are based on typical values of the various parameters required. Further charts showing the effect of varying the different parameters were also produced. The object of the present note is to present a series of these charts separately, with no discussion other than an explanation of their use. (TRRL)
