A ROAD LIGHTING CODE BASED ON CIE PHILOSOPHY
A design table, derived for each road lighting luminaire, and two simple formulae are used to give the column spacing, overall and longitudinal uniformities, and threshold increment corresponding to a specified road luminance. Account is taken of lamp and luminaire depreciation. Column positioning on bends is arrived at by means of iso-luminance templates. (Author/TRRL)
