FORD'S AEROSTAR TAKES ON THE COMPETITION
A preview is presented on Ford's 1985 model mini-van, the Aerostar. The name Aerostar accentuates Ford's new emphasis on styling and aerodynamics. Mechanically, the Aerostar is a front engine, rear-wheel-drive, unit-body vehicle with a combination of powertrain components. The Aerostar will be offered in five-passenger and seven-passenger configurations, or as a commercial panel van.
