IN THE CITY
IN DE STAD
Accessibility of the town centre and the problems for freight transport are discussed. Although increasing attention has been paid to a number of bottlenecks in recent years, several new bottlenecks have arisen, in particular in policy. It is proposed here that new overall transport legislation should be drawn up so that a more integrated policy can be possible, as a new structured basis for consideration. Attention is also paid to the setting up of transshipment centres on the outskirts of the city. (TRRL)
