VEHICLE FUEL: POLICE AND THE PROPANE VEHICLE

This article describes the conversion of one police department patrol car to a propane fuel system in the city of Englewood, Ohio. It reviews the installation, costs, safety, performance and acceptance. It concludes that propane conversion has shown itself to be cost-effective and safe, thus providing benefits to both public and police.
