FLAMMABLE GAS AND VAPOR DETECTION PROMOTES ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Recognition and acceptance of flammable gas and vapor detection are leading us toward broader and safer uses of electrical energy. The reliability achieved in this type of detection equipment during the last ten years, removes the need to resort to subjective evaluation as to the flammability of an area if a leak occurs. It is no longer necessary to enclose possible ignition sources to contain an explosion or prevent a flammable mixture to enter, if shutdown of a system or equipment is allowable before the volume of gas or vapor increases to the point of becoming flammable or explosive.
