THE KESSOCK BRIDGE DESIGN-AND-BUILD CONTRACT, AND PROPOSALS FOR MANAGING SIMILAR CONTRACTS
The paper reviews the Kessock Bridge contract, describing the events leading up to the planning and adoption of this special form of design-and-build contract. The aims, problems and achievements are described, and proposals are put forward for modified procedures which could be adopted for managing similar projects in the future. (Author/TRRL)
