NOISE CONTROL ON TOWBOATS
Recent experiences in towboat noise control are presented in this paper, particularly the findings of a comprehensive study of noise and vibration on the motor vessel Seaspan Planet, sponsored by the B.C. Towboat Owners' Association. Costs of alternate techniques of noise control are compared, and general recommendations for towboat noise control design are discussed.
