STUDY OF THE ISOTHERMAL RETICULATION, IN THE PRESENCE AND ABSENCE OF WATER, OF SOME EPOXY BINDERS USED FOR THE REPAIR OF HYDRAULIC CONCRETE

ETUDE DE LA RETICULATION ISOTHERME, EN PRESENCE ET EN ABSENCE D'EAU, DE QUELQUES LIANTS EPOXYDIQUES UTILISES POUR LA REPARATION DES BETONS HYDRAULIQUES

In the context of the repair of hydraulic concrete, it is common practice to inject fluid epoxy resins into the fine cracks of the damaged structure. Since means of non-destructive investigation of cracks are limited, the injection is most often performed without a knowledge of the internal condition of the crack, notably the damp (or water) it contains. This report deals with miscibility of cold hardening epoxy systems in function of the nature of the constituents and the influence of this miscibility on the kinetics of isothermal reticulation and the cohesion of the material.
