The aim of this report is to outline how the air pollution caused by exhaust fumes affects the environment and to propose measures in order to reduce this pollution. It deals with current legislation, measurements and calculations of exhaust fume emissions, the impact on the environment, traffic planning and control, exhaust fume purification, fuels and medical aspects.
