NEW ERA FOR CENTRALLY CONTROLLED TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM IN HELSINKI
HELSINGIN KESKUSOHJATTU LIIKENNEVALOJAERJESTELMAE SIIRTYI UUTEEN AIKAAN
Radical changes were made in 1983 to the centrally controlled traffic signal system in Helsinki at a cost of 5.5 million fim. The system consists of three computers controlling 250 signalized intersections. Details are given of the system and its operation. (TRRL)
