TRAFFIC MEASURES IN RIBBON BUILDING
VERKEERSMAATREGELEN IN LINTDORPEN
In this paper, which is part of a larger report, research on possible measures to improve dangerous traffic situations in areas of ribbon building is discussed. Some examples are given of villages in the Netherlands, where the population was invited to take part in this discussion on the possible solutions, which are also indicated. Road humps and narrowing of the street are the most frequently used solutions. For the covering abstract see TRIS 385386. (TRRL)
