This paper describes car park guidance systems (FPS). A FPS is an electronic system giving visual out-door information to the driver about free parking spaces and the roads that lead to them. It also deals with the setting up of such a system with the help of relatively simple as well as low-cost equipment (traffic controller with microprocessor). (TRRL)
