A SIMPLE DESIGN THEORY AND METHOD FOR BULBOUS BOWS OF SHIPS
A simple bulb design theory and method to minimize wave resistance are presented for bulbous bow ships, which attempt to determine how large a bulb should be for a given parent ship and design speed, where the bulb should be located, and how it should be faired into the ship.
