LIGHT REFLECTION AND CONSTITUTION OF ROAD SURFACES
LICHTREFLECTIE EN SAMENSTELLING VAN WEGDEKKEN
The author introduces the concept of standard "average wearing course luminance". A simple description method for reflection properties of wearing courses is drawn up. From reflection tests on different wearing courses it was concluded that the reflection properties are exclusively determined by the applied roadstone. A wearing course in a set form (from a photometric point of view) is defined. (TRRL)
