THE COSTS OF INSECURITY IN TRAFFIC
KOSTEN VAN VERKEERSONVEILIGHEID
A quantitative approach to the costs of road accidents in Tilburg is discussed. Apart from 7 factors which cannot be quantified there are 12 items which are more or less easy to estimate. The main benefit of the process is that the engineer becomes more involved with the contributing factors rather than with getting the exact value. (TRRL)
