FROM SITE SURVEY TO FINAL DRAWING
A coordinated system of commputer programs which facilitate the flow of civil engineering data through the design process is described. Aspects covered include the collection and reduction of field data, terrain modelling including use of the proprietory "Moss" system, design manipulations, and detail drafting. Costs and benefits are outlined and two examples are presented, including a detail survey of an urban road. (TRRL)
