Die WSW mobil GmbH in Wuppertal hat Anfang 2021 ein neuartiges Verkehrsinformationssystem als integrierten Bestandteil ihres Betriebsleitsystems (ITCS) in Betrieb genommen. Damit wurde die Fahrgastinformation grundlegend verbessert und eine weitreichende Automatisierung bestimmter Leitstellen- und Betriebsplanungsprozesse erreicht. Der Beitrag schildert die Entstehung dieses Systems. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: At the beginning of 2021 , the WSW mobil GmbH, Wuppertal put a new type of traffic information system into operation as an integrated component of its ITCS. Thereby, passenger information was fundamentally improved and a comprehensive automation of specific control center and operational planning processes was achieved. The article describes the development of this system.
