CONSOLIDATION CURVES FOR CLAYS

A general nonlinear differential equation for the one-dimensional consolidation of saturated plastic soils, taking into account the variations of compressibility and permeability of the soil, is integrated by numerical methods and the corresponding consolidation curves are presented.
